Acne is pimples and deeper pustules that clogged pores and permanent scars an be left if there are enough severe acne. Scarring is what you want to avoid and stop popping those zits yourself.
Pimples pop up on a lot of reasons which there are a lot of myths about the reasons. Despite what your friends and mom might say, chocolate, french fries and pizza aren’t among the causes of pimples. You will not get pimples from what you eat, unless you are allergic to what you eat and then you get hives not really zits.
Acne is inflammatory skin disorder of the skin’s sebaceous glands and hair follicles that will affects 80% of people between ages of 12 to 24.
As you lnow, during puberty producing high levels of hormones for both girls and boys and this will lead to the production large quantities of sebum. Sebum is an irritant that can clog the pores and form a pimple which become infected and a pustule formed. Hormones don’t go away after adolescence. After ovulation for women, will still get premenstrual acne from of the release of progesterone.
Sebaceous glands located in tiny pit of skin or each hair follicle, produce oil that lubricate the skin in order to keep it soft. Sebaceous glands are found in large numbers on the face, shoulders, back, and chest. If the oil trapped, bacteria will multiply in the follicle and skin becomes inflamed.
Acne isn’t caused by dirty pores but most likely by over active oil glands. The excess oil will make the pores sticky and allowing bacteria trapped inside. The blackheads form when sebum combines with skin pigments and plugs the pores. When scales below the surface of the skin filled with sebum the “white heads” appear. Dust, dirt, pollution and oils can clog the pores too. This can be eliminated by washing the skin with oil-free acne wash. But in different cases white heads build up, spread under the skin and rupture, eventually spreads those inflammation.
