A beautiful Belarussian girl has won a year contract in the sum of $250,000 after won the World Supermodel Contest in New York. She won the final of the annual contest held by Ford Models agency and become the best of other contestants from 38 countries of the world.

Another contestants from Canada and the Philippines took the second and the third places and respectively sign $150,000 and $100,000 contracts. Other prize-winners of the contest – girls from the Netherlands, the USA and Estonia – also won smaller contracts in the modeling business.

Finally, Angelina Jolie request to change the last names of her children to reflect Brad Pitt’s status as their adoptive father.
As a court clerk said that Superior Court Judge Linda Lefkowitz granted Jolie’s petition during a brief and routine name change hearing that was not attended by either parent. And the ruling means that Jolie’s children, 4-year-old Maddox and Zahara, who just turned one, will now carry the last name Jolie-Pitt.

The season one American Idol winner has backed down from her reported decision to block current Idol contestants from performing her songs, following a blistering attack by Simon Cowell, who publicly criticized her for “ignoring the audience” responsible for her fame.

The controversy came about after Sony BMG spokesman Roger Widynowski confirmed that the “Since U Been Gone” singer had chosen not to license any of her material for other uses. “It has nothing to do with Idol,” he said.
