Necklaces are going down, belts are back, earrings are dangling, scarves are fluid, handbags getting soft. The accessories are going to sizzle this summer, pants waistlines are going up but hemlines are going down a bit.
We could say that this year will be comfy cool and sexy year for fashion and women lifestyle.
Women accessories are leaning in the arts and crafts design direction, just like beady, long and plentiful necklaces. Where a single large beaded strand with artful beads or pair them up with several and long is where they are at as well as big and with interesting beads. There will be more variations on the necklace worlds as plastic, metal beads, wood, handmade, crocheted, and glass will invade. Find them beaded alone or with lace, sheer or ribbon.
While you are at it, dangling earrings to match will complete the ensemble, like hoops and beads for dangling in the earring. Out with the chandeliers and in come the dangling beads.
For women belts, will back big-time accentuating the waistlines. Wide big belts are back as well as plenty of other styles. Fabric belts, pom pom end belts, leather, and crocheted lace belts are all a hot belt products on the way. Sheer or lace belts are big that can be used two fold. You can wear them as a belt or as a scarf. Find those great finds art fair in fabric belts or crocheted belts and get creative.
Handbags always be favorite, with soft leathers, straw and fabrics are on top. Look for lots of gathered ends on the top and visible pockets on the outside for large size handbag. Straw is always hot in all colors and new styles with crochet and appliques are abundant. You will see simple designs to more artistic designs but if your outfit is strikingly fabulous, stick it with simple. For a more conservative or simple style, set it off with a more artistic handbag.
Gold is something that became big this season as you can find it in handbags, clothing, jewelry and shoes. But don’t cover yourself in gold from head to toe or you will look like a left over Christmas ornament! Gold shoes and a great gold handbag will look great with any outfit and you will not be overdoing it.
Mini’s are out this year, look for knee length and long flowing skirts and dresses. Lacey, gauze, sheers and satin is it for skirts and dresses with a comfy and sexy look.
Skirts styles are very full along with A-lines are very in. Pants waistlines are starting to go up and bring belts back in for a while but at they are not going down any farther.
