The 25-year-old singer filed for divorce from Nick Lachey last December but her publicist says Simpson is looking at adoption and join the Hollywood adopt-a-baby-from-a-foreign-country club.
But she said, “Nothing has been finalized yet” as to when and how Simpson will adopt. And as reported, Simpson is exploring options right now.

Jessica Simpson tells TV’s Extra, “I want to adopt, and I plan to adopt before I have my own kids.” She admits she has recently been inspired by Angelina Jolie, who has adopted two children from foreign countries. “I think Angelina Jolie has done amazing, amazing things, and the international adoption rate, just since her, has skyrocketed,” she says. “It’s unbelievable.”

Actually Simpson is not alone in her wish to adopt children from outside the U.S. Queen Latifah recently told the Sun that she is thinking about adopting a Chinese baby, and also, Penelope Cruz is considering adopting a child from India.
