Debra LaFave was given her freedom nearly two years after she engaged in sexual acts with a 14-year-old boy in her classroom, her house, and even in her car, in Florida. Florida prosecutors dropped molestation charges against Lafave on 22 March after the boy reported to be uncomfortable testifying on live court television.
Lafave, 25, was a middle-school teacher and the boy was one of her students at the time several molests occurred.
Lafave, a strong Christian woman (?), platinum blond, blue-eyed woman, Debra Lafave is the 25 year old school teacher, was eventually apprehended and charged with statutory rape against the delinquency of a minor. The Scripps-Citrus Connection
The Florida Department of Citrus asked Ken Fujioka, MD, of the famed Scripps Research Institute in San Diego, California, to carry out a study evaluating whether eating a grapefruit (1/2 with each meal), or drinking grapefruit juice (three servings daily), or taking grapefruit powder (capsules) would have any different effects on bodyweight or metabolic variables (e.g. blood sugar, insulin, etc.). than drinking apple juice daily.
This 12-week “grapefruit diet” study enrolled 100 obese participants and asked them to maintain their daily eating habits except for the addition of one of the grapefruit variants and to slightly enhance the amount of exercise they were accustomed to doing. Thus, the only real apparent variable would be the grapefruit (or derivative). Read more of The New Grapefruit Women Diet
From an evolutionary standpoint, it makes sense that a woman suffering from mental depression would have trouble conceiving. Alice D. Domar, Ph.D., director of the Mind/Body Center for Women’s Health at Boston IVF says, “A depressed woman is not capable of caring for herself, let alone a baby. Depression may have been a natural way of contraception during times of starvation or war.” But if a woman is feeling depressed because she’s not getting pregnant, that’s another story.
Here’s Domar’s thesis: a woman who wants very much to be a mother starts trying to conceive of women reproduction health. Read more of How Depression Affects Women Fertility?
Speaking to The Alex Jones Show on the GCN Radio Network, Actor Charlie Sheen elaborated on why he had problems believing the government’s version of events. He agreed that the biggest conspiracy theory was put out by the government itself and prefaced his argument by quoting Theodore Roosevelt in stating, “That we are to stand by the President right or wrong is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
Sheen described the climate of acceptance for serious discussion about 9/11 as being far more fertile than it was a couple of years ago and his immediate skepticism regarding the official reason for the collapse of the twin towers and building 7 on the day of 9/11.

Blue jeans seem to be the one item of apparel suitable in almost any situation, writes The New York Times. It’s also the garment with the most sex appeal and the one that crosses all age barriers and categories. Although most jeans sold in the U.S. cost under $20, price tags on some high-end brands lend themselves to sticker shock. Once that shock passes, however, the money finds its way from purse the cashier with hardly a look-back.
Premium denims, as they are known in the business, are in great demand of women fashion products. Brands like Seven, Habitual, Rogan (worn by everyone on “Friends”) and Notify have men and women willingly shelling out anywhere from $75 to $300 a pair. Read more of Can $250 Jeans Make the Woman?
Lingerie has joined the gowns, jewelry and handbags lent or given to actresses by firms eager for the publicity associated with Sunday’s Oscars and other awards shows. But there are potential pitfalls, whether an ill-fitting garment, or ill-mannered observer. If a star wants to turn heads, she has to start with what no one sees — the perfect undergarment to build up the bosom or minimize the backside.
Keira Knightley wore her strawberry blond hair in a loose ponytail, and she had on a one-of-a-kind necklace with emeralds, rubies and diamonds from the 1960s she chose from the Bulgari archives. But I’m not sure what Vera Wang’s concept behind the single-strap was. Anyway the colour worked brilliantly for the holy-freakin-hot British starlet. Read more of Late Oscar Fashion Review
