The high sounding fundas. AHA ( Alpha hydroxy acid ) products can easily be made at home, since they are made of fruit, and you are bound to find the remaining ingredients on your kitchen shelf or in the fridge! Fruits are natural anti-oxidants.
Get cucumber for your sunburnt.
Slice a large cucumber, reserving two slices to place over eyes during the treatment. Peel and puree the remaining cucumber.

Apply as a pack onto your face. Remove after fifteen minutes. Apply a heavy-duty moisturiser to seal in water.

The cleansing properties of potatoes make them great for use on the face and body. Raw potato juice is soothing and anti-inflammatory, and helps fight skin blemishes.
Grate a raw potato. Mix with curd and apply on skin blemishes and dark patches. Massage on the face to get rid of wrinkles as your beauty aid.
For dark circles, grind a raw potato and add almond paste to it. Use the mixture regularly under your eyes to get rid of dark circles and puffiness.
Make your own Radish Deodorant.
Extract the juice from about 2 dozen radishes, add 1/4 teaspoon of glycerin. Pour into a spary bottle and keep refrigerated. Squirt under arms after a bath or pour some into the palm of your hand and rub under the arms.
For problem odour, avoid eating the following strong smelling foods which cause body odour when sweated out: Garlic, onions, cumin, peppers, eggs, liver, fish, legumes.
You can not do much better than almond milk cleansers if you have dry or aged skin. Almond oil lubricates and softens the skin, and glycerine helps it retain moisture.
Ratio: 1/2 cup rose water :1 teaspoon pure glycerin
Add 1 teaspoon almond oil
Make the rose or lavender water by placing a small handful of dried organic rose petals or lavender in a glass jar. Add boiling water to cover. Let it stand overnight, then strain well. Combine the remaining ingredients in a glass jar and shake to blend. Dab on fingers and massage into your skin. Rinse with warm water.
Shelf life: 1 month in refrigerator.
