Jessica Simpson has been left ‘devastated’ by her estranged husband’s decision to tell the world about their failed relationship. Recent reports that Nick Lachey was still in love with his soon-to-be ex, singer Jessica Simpson, word is out that the blonde bombshell feels like he set off a bomb of his own. After she told him she was filing for divorce last December (05).
The funny thing is – the interview was deemed so tame by the media interviewer, Rolling Stone, standards that one report claimed Nick was denied the cover for not slamming Jessica and her family hard enough. Insiders claim what upset her most of all was the timing of his decision to kiss-and-tell. They revealed: ‘Nick waited until two weeks before for his new album, ‘What’s Left Of Me’, to debut to tell a reporter that he loved Jessica. That’s not cool.
The pair have handled this whole ugly mess very differently. Nick is now looked at by many fans as a serial dater, while Jessica has had rumored romances, she has yet to flaunt them.
Jessica recently cancelled an interview with Vanity Fair magazine after it was made clear that she would be required to talk about her divorce from Lachey???an insider said: ???She will not take the low road.??? Obviously neither of them loves each other any more???but still a good way to make money of your misery I guess.
Meanwhile, former Baywatch pin-up Pamela Anderson has given her approval to Jessica Simpson who looks set to take on the role of her former character CJ Parker in the new Baywatch film.
The curvy blonde has been touted to play CJ Parker in the big screen adaptation of the life-guard TV show, and Anderson believes Simpson would do a good job ??? as well as having a novel suggestion for the role of David Hasslehoff???s lead character Mitch. Anderson is a huge fan of the Dukes of Hazzard actress and suggests funnyman Will Ferrell takes David Hasselhoff’s role as muscle-bound boss Mitch.
Anderson says: “Oh my goodness she sure could. Will Ferrell should play David Hasselhoff. That would be hot.”
Jessica Simpson also has purchased the film rights to passionate novel, ‘Lovers And Players,’ according to a published report. Jessica wants to play the role of the lead vixen in the big screen version of the sexy Jackie Collins novel.
An insider exposed, “Jessica has read the book several times and loves it.”
