As the divorce of Charlie Sheen and estranged wife Denise Richards gathers pace, more shenanigans ensue now. Once Denise Richards started airing her grievances, it apparently became difficult for her to stop. Denise Richards’ sly shanghai of Heather Locklear’s estranged hubby Richie Sambora has fueled a neighborhood catfight ala “Desperate Housewives,†sources tell Star magazine.
“She betrayed Heather, Heather’s daughter and all of us who live here,â€insisted a neighbor of the feuding ex-best friends - who both live in Mailbu’s Westlake Village. “This is a family-oriented community, and the last person I want living here now is Denise Richards.â€
Locklear didn’t hear of her neighbor’s betrayal until her publicist showed her snapshots of Denise sitting in Sambora’s lap!
Denise has spoken out about her relationship with Richie Sambora, the estranged husband of her former friend Heather Locklear, and insists that the romance didn’t start until Heather and Richie had split and her friendship with Heather was already over.
Now she’s taking her former best friend, Heather Locklear, to task over Locklear’s supposed “betrayal.” Locklear’s rumored beau of the moment, David Spade, seemed to perpetuate that speculation when he told reporters last week that Locklear was “still nursing the knife wound in her back.” However, Richards claims Locklear knows “that there was nothing that happened during either marriage.”
“Heather knows why and when her marriage ended with Richie and she knows why my marriage ended with Charlie,” she told TMZ.
Richards was in the midst of her nasty divorce from Sheen and told her supposed BFF, “Richie wasn’t husband material and (that) Heather would be better off without him,†dished a source.
Once the 44-year-old blond bombshell announced her split from Sambora, friends of both actresses say Richards, 35, mysteriously stopped calling.
As for Sheen, he recently told Extra that he was “horrified” by the allegations Richards made in her recent court declaration and that she had “radically violated” their agreement not to discuss the details of their divorce publicly.
“It’s the most vile attack I’ve ever witnessed, period,” he said. “Why was I allowed any contact, on any level, with her or the children for the past year? Why, if that’s who I am?” he asked.
The New York Post reported that Charlie Sheen’s ex actually began her secret affair with the Bon Jovi guitarist in November of 2005. Which may explain why Richards pushed Locklear to file for divorce from her rocker hubby in January when she intercepted steamy e-mails between Sambora and his former assistant.
The good news is, Denise Richards said that she’s open to marrying again and still believes she can find the perfect marriage partner, despite her bitter divorce battle with Charlie Sheen. She has given her first interview since filing fresh charges against her ex, claiming he had threatened her life when she decided the marriage was over last year.
