Kinda Late, But Kidman Still loves Cruise

Nicole Kidman pic Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman has spoken openly about her personal life in an interview with US magazine Ladies’ Home Journal, revealing that she still loves her ex-husband Tom Cruise. She revealed that her divorce from Cruise in 2001 was a “major shock”.
Private Kidman has always refused to discuss the heartbreaking split but opened up to the publication, even admitting she knew the marriage was in trouble before Cruise stunned Hollywood and filed for divorce - but it still came as a huge shock.
“He was lovely to me. And I loved him. I still love him. I always knew the rug was going to be taken out from underneath me at some stage [but] I didn’t think it was going to happen in the way it happened.”

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman married on Christmas Eve 1990 after a whirlwind romance. The marriage lasted more than a decade and the couple adopted two children. Then Cruise filed for divorce in February 2001 after 10 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce was finalized later that year. Cruise and Kidman adopted two children, Isabella, now 13, and Connor, now 11. The Oscar-winning actress said she would support her children if they decided to trace their natural parents. “I feel enormous love for whoever my children’s birth parents are,” she said. “And if my children choose to go find them at some stage, I can’t wait.”

Kidman said, “I always knew the rug was going to be taken out from underneath me at some stage,” says Kidman. “I didn’t think it was going to happen in the way it happened.”
“I knew I was going to get hit with something,” she revealed. “But I think a divorce, and the demise of what your family is, is a little death in itself.”

Speaking about moving on with her life, Kidman said: “I’m pretty careful about who I share my life with. I surround myself with truthful, kind people, most of whom are not in the business.”
“It’s the life I want to have when I’m an old woman with long, grey hair.”
She is currently dating music star Keith Urban whom she is rumoured to be getting married to sometime soon. Tom Cruise recently celebrated the birth of his baby daughter Suri by fiancee Katie Holmes.
A source revealed, “This baby means Katie Holmes will be in Tom’s life forever Nicole always cherished the special bond adopting gave her and Tom, now he will share that bond with Katie”
