Pentagon Video Video images of a hijacked airliner slamming into the Pentagon recorded by Pentagon security cameras outside the building, were made public in response to a December 2004 Freedom of Information Act request by Judicial Watch, a public interest group.
The video, released by the government in conjunction with a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by the Judicial Watch legal activist group, was a longer, more complete version of still-frame images that were leaked to the news media in 2002. The video and isolated images had previously been leaked and circulated on the Internet.

And I think we should ask another question here, why did it take so long to release this tape? Instead we have fake documentaries out of France questioning the attacks.
One media write :
“The airplane is a thin white blur on the video as it slams into the Pentagon at ground level. Almost instantly a white flash and a huge orange fireball appear on the video, followed by a tower of gray-black smoke. One of the videos shows a Pentagon police car driving in the direction of the impact point shortly after the plane hit.
Traveling at an estimated 350 mph, the hijacked American Airlines plane plowed into the southwest side of the Pentagon at 9:38 a.m. EDT, shortly after two other hijacked airlines were flown into the twin towers at the World Trade Center in New York. The attack set off fires in a portion of the Pentagon and killed 125 people inside, in addition to the 59 passengers and crew and the five men who hijacked the plane at Dulles International Airport.
The Pentagon had previously refused to release the videos, saying they had been provided to the Justice Department as evidence in any criminal proceedings.”

Several public interest groups, including â€œJudicial Watch,â€ say there really was no plane instead they believe a missile or bomb went off at the Pentagon that morning. Itâ€™s a conspiracy theory that has many making movies and asking questions, the Government says the answers are right there in the surveillance video.
“If there’s footage of a plane actually hitting the Pentagon, then I don’t think there should be any kind of conspiracies against it, but if they haven’t found any sort of evidence, I don’t see how a big plane could just disappear,â€ says Paola Torres of Myrtle Beach, SC.

But looking at the video, there are still questions over what is actually there. Some says, “You couldn’t tell anything to be honest, it just looked like, at first, there’s a regular building and then there’s a big ball of flames.”
Various claims have circulated that a commercial jet did not strike the Pentagon, but rather a missile or something else.

Actualy the photos do NOT show an airliner. I guess I can spot the plane, or at least something that might be a plane. It goes by so fast and because of the angle, distance, and obstructions I still can’t say what it was…probably a plane though. The wreakage is much too small and incomplete. Where is the wings that would have sheared off? Or the tail section that rose above the body of the plane? Where’s the luggage? Not to mention the human parts scattered every where. Maybe.
