Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have signed a multi-million-dollar deal with a US magazine to publish the first pictures of their first child together. “They’ve signed a £2.6million deal with a publication and the money will go to children’s charity UNICEF,” a source told British newspaper the Daily Mirror. The child is expected within the next few weeks.
As the birth of Angelina Jolie’s baby draws near, we receive more news from Namibia, where Ange and Brad Pitt are holed-up. “Angelina’s very private but they figured they might as well use the opportunity of one child being born to help a lot of others,” the source added.
It seems likely that the birth is to take place in Namibia where the couple are currently holed up. A group of American specialists are on standby at Burning Shore Lodge where the pair are staying with their adopted children, son Maddox and daughter Zahara.
Reports were claiming the close-knit Pitt clan felt they’d been snubbed when their son, 42, and his 30-year-old missus Jolie suddenly moved to Paris and then Namibia.
Meanwhile, Brad’s brother Doug has also hit back at rumours his family felt snubbed by the couple’s sudden move to Africa. He said: “We all want to help them get through the birth in any way we can… We just want them to enjoy it and to know we’re all thinking of them.” He also revealed that Brad is unhappy about his mum’s continued friendship with his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston.
It’s been speculated that the Pitt family feels snubbed by the couple’s move to Namibia, which the ‘Ocean’s 11′ star’s brother denies.
He said: “He feels mum should move on and cut the link. But mum’s in a difficult position, she has great affection for Jennifer.” As for the birth itself, it looks likely it will take place in Namibia.
“We all want to help them get through the birth in any way we can… We just want them to enjoy it and to know we’re all thinking of them,” he said.
