Britney Spears Nude Poses For Harper’s Bazaar
Dark-haired Spears pop princess Britney Spears strips down to her birthday suit on the August cover of Harper???s Bazaar and shows off her swelling six-month preggers belly for everybody and their brother to see. Oops, she lost her clothes.
Six-month pregnant Britney Spears has followed in the footsteps of Demi Moore by posing nude (and very pregnant) on a magazine cover of the August issue; there’s also an accompanying photo spread inside. On the cover, Spears, who is sitting, cups her breasts with her hands and crosses her legs while showing her protruding belly and smiling for the camera of lensman Alexi Lubomirski.
In another pose, the newly-brunette lies on her back wearing a big furry coat and a thong, her rounded belly on full display. She is also shown wearing a floor-length backless black dress, white G-string and holding her young son Sean Preston.
Harper’s said pop singer Spears “was never more beautiful” than when it photographed her a week ago and that it was the first time it had printed a nude photo on its cover. The magazine added, “Since word leaked out about the shoot on Monday, people have been desperate to get their hands on the exclusive photos which were posted on various Web sites without permission from the magazine.”
The look borrowed heavily from the famous Vanity Fair cover featuring an heavily pregnant Moore in 1991, and Spears was reportedly desperate to mirror the photo that shot the actor to super-stardom. Demi Moore appeared naked on the cover of Vanity Fair in 1991 in a picture taken by famous snapper Annie Leibowitz.
Photographed front on, the 24-year-old showed off her rounded stomach to full effect. Her hands and legs were placed to protect her modesty.
Spears reportedly hopes the new photos will quell the negative reaction to her teary interview with Matt Lauer ??? an Us Weekly poll found that 87 percent of respondents had less respect for the singer after her Dateline appearance.
And in this week’s In Touch, it’s reported that Spears is considering returning to her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana, where she was born. “She wants to come home,” Kentwood Mayor Harold Smith said. “She’s building more rooms for her growing family. She wants a nursery and some kids’ rooms.”
The former teen idol Spears has frequently complained that she is hounded by paparazzi and earlier this month appealed to them to leave her alone. She also recently came under criticism for driving with her baby on her lap while fleeing a photographer.
In an interview with NBC “Today” show host Matt Lauer, she tearfully admitted to being “an emotional wreck,” and defended husband Kevin Federline from sniping in tabloids.
