Who has the most perfect legs in showbiz? Jennifer Aniston has it, but only if you ask a man. Aniston’s “ideal” proportions and silky skin scored her the highest mark of 14.67, seeing off competition from other celeb beauties Jessica Simpson and Christina Aguilera. While chaps drool over the 37-year old actress’s luscious limbs, women prefer the leaner look of Victoria Beckham’s.
The ‘Break-Up’ actress beat ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ actress Jessica Simpson and singer Christina Aguilera to the coveted title, in a study carried out by electronics giant Braun. While chaps drool over the 37-year old actress’s luscious limbs, women prefer the leaner look of Victoria Beckham’s.
Scientists came up with a specific formula, working on behalf of electronics company Braun developed a unique formula for the best pins. Apparently it’s all to do with the proportions of the leg and thigh as well as the texture of the skin to calculate the perfect pair of pins.

In another chapter in the battle of the sexes, women and men differ in what they view as the perfect female leg. Men look for shapely, solid thighs and chunky calves, but women see thin and lean as more attractive.
Dr Aric Sigman, who conducted the study, said: “For men, the ideal leg is shapely, full and smooth with a semi-gloss sheen. Women want the same thing – only two sizes smaller.” The study also showed most British men preferred women to have more shapely legs of more curvaceous stars such as Beyonce Knowles, it seems that British women moaning about their shapely figures should embrace their curves.
This is deeply fascinating. And what’s more it is based on scientific fact. Dr Andre Hill, professor of medical psychology at Leeds University, says: “Men aren’t interested in this Barbie-shaped extraordinary figure. They like much more variety than women give them credit for.
“The ideally-shaped legs are portrayed in fashion magazines by these 6ft-tall catwalk models but men don’t read these – only women do. It’s not surprising at all that men like more generous and shapely legs.”

A survey by Braun found 62 per cent of women envied long, thin legs with prominent calf muscles and viewed the legs of celebrities such as Victoria Beckham and model Gisele as ideal. But 70 per cent of men fancied the chunkier legs of curvy Kelly Brook and athletic Cameron Diaz instead.
British women who have no desire to know how their legs are rated should watch out, however, as Braun workers along with former Big Brother winner Kate Lawler are touring Britain to find the person with the best legs. A Braun spokeswoman said: “It shows that women are much too hard on themselves.”
After Jen, men rated the legs of actress Cameron Diaz in second place, model Elizabeth Hurley was third and Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria fourth. The women chose Victoria Beckham as their number one leggy lady followed by Gisele, actress Keira Knightley and socialite Paris Hilton.
