Angelina Jolie’s Wedding Promise

There may soon be a Brangelina wedding on the cards, for actress Angelina Jolie reportedly allegedly made her dying mom a promise that she would tie the knot with boyfriend Brad Pitt. Both Pitt and Jolie were reportedly by Marcheline Bertrand’s bedside when she lost her seven year battle with ovarian cancer January 27 at the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in LA. Jolie is reported to have made the pledge hours before her beloved mother’s passing, sparking speculation of a marriage within months.
A close friend of the family said: ???Marcheline held Angie???s hand and told her, ???You marry that man. He???s an angel sent to look after you???.???
Soon after Marcheline, 56, who was also an actress, was admitted to Cedars Sinai Medical Centre, in Los Angeles, last weekend, Angelina flew to her side by private jet with Brad from New Orleans, where he is shooting a movie there. Angelina’s’ mom had been residing in a suite at Raffles L’Ermitage Hotel, Beverly Hills, and Angelina had the awful task of sifting through her mothers belongings that remained at the hotel before they were moved to a storage facility using two Suburban SUVs
The friend adds, “Brad has never stopped trying to push (Jolie) down the aisle but she’s always resisted, saying that it’s the children who legally bind them together. “Now she’ll make good on her death bed promise.”
Since news hit a week ago that Marcheline Bertrand had passed way, Jolie spent two days, Jan. 31 and Feb 1, clearing the hotel suite where her mother had been staying in the months before her death, accompanied, for some of the time, by Brad Pitt. And with her means Jolie could have professionals collect her mom’s belongings and spend her time any way that she chose. Instead Angelina sucked it up, and along with her lover Brad Pitt, has decided to do the sad chore herself.
