Skin is a very important and visible part of our body. It’s a kind of protective coating on our entire body parts. Male and female skin condition differs in three critical ways:
1. Female skin is soft and delicate in contrast to the tough and rugged skin of men.
2. Harsher outdoor routine of men gives them less room for a fairer skin unlike women.
3. Rough skin with stubble leads to the formation of a darker and malign complexion for men.
As we care and look after our all organs, our skin requires a little more care as it’s directly in contact with the outer environment as dirt, dust and sun. Harmful chemicals, which our polluted air contains, and bad water too are a cause in damaging skin before time.
Based on various skin types and complexions, beauty products needs to be chosen and adopted. The skin is the most exposed part of our body and is hence the most affected area of our body. It is more prone to diseases since the dirt, grime, polluted air and exhaust from the vehicles all gets accumulated here. Hence skin is to be given proper care. Gwen’s Harajuku Lovers fashion line is suing popular retail outlet Forever 21 for trademark infringement, claiming the clothing chain allegedly stole designs from the Harajuku Lovers line, Access Hollywood has learned. Stefani, through her Harajuku Lovers, LLC company, is seeking to stop Forever 21 from modelling clothes based on her own designs, as well as unspecified monetary damages.
The lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Federal Court implicates the mega-chain for trademark infringement by selling merchandise featuring a design “virtually indistinguishable” from Harajuku’s signature heart/box logo.
The lawsuit claims Forever 21 “changed a couple of words in the Heart/Box Trademark, which are inconspicuous and likely to go unnoticed by a consumer.” Read more of Gwen Stefani Sues Clothing Megachain
PRADA has put a €3-3.5 billion ($A4.8-5.6 billion) price tag on the business amid speculation that rag-trade billionaire Richard Caring may make a bid for the Italian luxury fashion chain. Rag-trade billionaire Richard Caring, who owns a number of London restaurants including the Ivy, has been named as one of the interested parties.
UK newspapers The Sunday Times and The Daily Telegraph of London said that Caring, who owns London’s swanky Ivy and Le Caprice eateries, faces competition from at least two private equity groups for the Milan-based chain, citing city sources. Meanwhile the UK’s Financial Times said the fashion house is preparing for an initial public offering (IPO) instead of a private sale.
“The information in the piece is completely incorrect,” said Prada spokesman Tomaso Galli in a telephone interview. “The company is not for sale and there have been no meetings with anyone regarding a sale.” Read more of Italian Fashion House Prada, Up For Sale
News broke about Miss New Jersey Amy Polumbo being blackmailed with photos that she originally posted on the web – news that, unsurprisingly, was promptly splayed on New York City tabloids. Miss New Jersey Amy Polumbo won the title on June 16th and just nine days later, June 25th, received a mysterious package in the mail stuffed with photos of herself (she says they’re not scandalous in nature) and a note saying that the photos will be published unless she relinquishes her crown to first runner-up Ronica Licciardello.
Amy Polumbo’s lawyer, Anthony Caruso, says the pictures show the 22-year-old Howell resident with some friends. And although he won’t say what they depict, Caruso says they may be photos she posted years ago on a private Internet site. Caruso said he will ask state and federal authorities to track down the extortionist, whom he guessed is “someone close to Amy,” the newspaper said. Cynthia Rodriguez, Alex Rodriguez’ wife made a bad fashion statement and getting some attention for a tank top she wore to watch the New York Yankees play the Oakland A’s. Who she was sending the message to - her cheating hubby A-Rod or the ever-intrusive media - is unclear. But what is clear is that this woman is fed up. So much so that she was willing to offend those seated nearby, including young children and families. Seated next to Cynthia was the couple’s two-year-old daughter, Natasha.
The team’s policy prohibits any banners or signs that are not in “good taste.” It also states that security guards will also eject any guests “using foul language” or “making obscene gestures.” Read more of Cynthia Rodriguez’s Shirt, Bad Fashion Statement
