Angelina Jolie has pulled out of a UN talk in Italy, amid growing speculation that she is expecting her second child with Brad Pitt. The lecture was part of a conference called ‘The Flight Of The Hummingbird’ — ‘The Future Of Children In The Mind And Society Of The World.’ Jolie was scheduled to give a lecture at a conference at the Pio Manzu Centre, near Rimini, but pulled out at the last minute, citing “personal reasons.”
“Angelina cancelled last week. Due to her privacy I can???t confirm her pregnancy, but I can say that the Italian newspapers are correct in their reports.” Jolie’s Spokeswoman Letizia Manjani was quoted as saying.
Italian newspapers claim the actress had to pull out at the last minute because she had discovered she was expecting. Angelina and Brad – who first met on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith – have made no secret of their desire to add to their family.
Asked if the couple were ready for a fifth child, Pitt had said in an interview to Italian state TV last month. “Yeah, we’re ready,” without indicating if they were planning another biological child or if they were planning to adopt.
“It’s the most fun I’ve ever had and also the biggest pain in the ass I’ve ever experienced,” Pitt had replied when asked what it was like to become a family with four children in a short space of time.
“I love it and can’t recommend it any more highly — although sleep is nonexistent,” he had said.
If the rumors are true, this will be Jolie???s second biological child with Brad Pitt. They have an 18-month-old daughter, Shiloh, and three adopted children. Maddox is 6, Pax is 3, and Zahara is 2.
