Claudia Schiffer in Provocative Naked Vogue Shoot

Claudia Schiffer dominated the catwalk during the 1990s, now she is proving she’s still worthy of supermodel status. This 37-year-old mother-of-two has stripped off, pictured topless and appearing nude - save for briefs, hold-ups and a feline mask - in a provocative cover shoot for the German edition of Vogue magazine. Dressed in just a pair of knickers, black stockings and a feline mask, stars in a photographic collection, boldly titled Sex, by renowned fashion snapper Mario Testino, who is famous for shooting the world’s most high profile stars, including Princess Diana and Madonna.
Proving her supermodel status is clearly not waning, the mother-of-two has returned to more high-profile modelling jobs in the last year, after taking time out to raise her children. She has again teamed up with Karl Lagerfeld, the designer that discovered her, to star in Chanel’s advertising campaigns.
This new shoot, which appears on the cover of the German edition of Vogue, is another marker in her gradual return to the modelling scene. The supermodel, known for her business sense and wholesome Teutonic beauty, said in a statement this week that Testino is “one of the few people I can completely trust - there are no boundaries at all when I’m shooting with him.”
But despite a famous Citroën commercial in which she appeared naked - and was reportedly paid £3 million (€3.8 million) - in 1998, Schiffer has been reluctant in the past to appear nude in photo shoots.
She ever said, “In order to become a supermodel one must be on all the covers all over the world at the same time so that people can recognise the girls.
“That is, for now, not possible, not least because the advertising industry is very much taken nowadays by popstars and actresses. Supermodels like we once were don’t exist any more.”
Claudia, now live in a £5million Suffolk mansion. In 2002, she married Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels film producer Matthew Vaughn after ending a long term romance with magician David Copperfield.
