Learn from Sam Mendoza, a professional Providence designer, who does not have a single professional training in sewing yet has been able to run several successful fashion runways that got many positive reviews. Sewing instructor Mikala Kash, who teaches sewing class at her studio in North Attleboro, kindly shared a couple of tips for you to start.
Invest wisely. Do not ever let yourself be tempted by fancy, expensive sewing machines. What you need is a real, direct experience that can make you really absorb the points of sewing. Fancy sewing machines will only hinder you from really try what works best for you. Remember, investing in sewing machines can cost you hundreds of dollars.
