Long, wavy hair is never out-of-date. No matter how vary the female hairstyles are, wavy hair always holds its charm. Stars like Jessica Simpson, Kate Hudson and Rachel Bilson are more than one spotted with enviable wavy hairstyles, but their hairstyles can be yours, too.
To get a seductive wavy hairstyle, set aside your 30 minutes to 1 hour of time (depends on the length and thickness of your hair). Prepare volumizing pray, straightening balm (if you have thick, coarse hair), hair dryer, a 1-inch barrel curling iron, ponytail holder and bobby pins, shine serum, hairspray, and saltwater spray. Do not forget to wash your hair first before you start the process.
After you wash your hair, turn upside down and spray the roots with volumizing spray. Rub and massage the hair gently using volumizing tonic if you need to. If you have naturally coarse or curly hair, you would want to apply straightening balm.
Brush your hair and blowdry it, by starting at the roots to get extra volume (make sure that the hair is completely dry to get the maximum voluminous look). Blow cold air at the roots to add volume and lock in a style. Separate hair into three sections, securing with a ponytail holder. Curl your hair using the wide-barreled curling iron. Starting with one section, take a 1-inch portion of hair, and spray it with styling spray or hairspray. Wrap hair around the barrel of the curling iron.
Make sure to leave ends loose when you are curling to avoid a crimp mark.
Release the curl after about 5-10 seconds or longer if you want a tighter curl. Roll curl and bobby pin it close to the scalp.
Alternate the direction of the curl as you work your way through each section. Start by placing hair on top of the barrel and wrapping around, then switch by putting the barrel on top of the hair before winding it around. Alternating directions makes curls look more natural. Some curls can remain tight, some loose.
Once pinned curls have cooled, release them.
Remove nozzle from dryer and gently loosen waves with cool air. You can also separate curls with your fingers, just make sure not to brush them out.
To add shine, apply a hair serum or saltwater spray. Set with hairspray, but do not overdo it.

My hair is naturally curly and a little dry, so a leave-in spray is practically a necessity. Shielo Antioxidant Leave in Spray was the first leave-in spray I ever had good results with. I’ve tried many other brands from stores and salons, but none so far have given as much non-greasy shine, plus moderate frizz control, as the Shielo Leave-In Spray. It’s very light, so you can use a little or a lot depending on your hair, and it doesn’t leave a “waxy” feeling like some other leave-in’s can. I know some people with kind of oily hair who don’t like this product, but it’s fantastic for my hair type!
