As Selena Gomez was reported to be hospitalized after her appearance on The Tonight Show, there had been many comments from fans regarding the teen pop star’s illness. Some even said that Gomez was probably pregnant for she was reported to have nausea and a severe headache, while others joked that she was experiencing the ‘Bieber Fever’ referring to her boyfriend, Justin Bieber.
When she was spotted out at weekend in Los Angeles, she posted a message on her official Facebook page, saying: “I just wanted to say thank you so much for all of the get well wishes. I love you guys so much.”
On Monday, the singer and actress again informed via Twitter that she felt much better and thanking her fan for being so understanding. She also said she couldn’t wait to see the fans at the ‘Monte Carlo’ kick off which is taken place at Santa Monica.
And yes, she did show up at the show. She appeared to be on the mend as she took the stage Monday for a Santa Monica Place show. The show had to be rescheduled from Friday due to her condition.
Selena took a chance to thank her fans for coming to the show, and at the same time apologized for not being at the show on Friday. “I’m so sorry that I couldn’t be here… I love you guys very much,” said the 18 year-old star to more than 500 young fans at the outdoor mall.
When reporters asked for the cause of her hospitalization, she said that she was just very malnourished, low on iron, and exhausted.
The Monday show however seemed to be a healing therapy for the Disney star, as she energetically performed “Who Says” and “A Year Without Rain” as well as interacting with her fans without a single sign of those health problems.
“I do feel better!” said Selena to her fans.
Well, perhaps being at a shopping mall filled with screaming fans does help the star get healed faster.
