One key to have a flawless look on your face is not a good deal of makeup, but even skin tone. Getting your skin tone right is the important part of your daily makeup routine (and I am not talking about instant skin whitening cream), but make you look like you do not wear makeup at all. Here are some tips to even out your skin tone.

1. Exfoliate
We know that exfoliation is good for getting rid of dead skin cells that are mucking up the surface of the skin, but we often forget to make it our regular skin care routine. Dead skin cell built up can make your skin look duller and older; plus, your foundation will not cover well, and moisturizer will not properly soak in.

2. Prepare skin adequately
Apply makeup primer with SPF to make your skin plump; plumped skin makes foundation and tinted moisturizer glide easily. If you do not have primer, moisturizer with SPF would do.

3. Apply good foundation
Good foundation or tinted moisturizer is the one that blends perfectly with your skin (though tinted moisturizer tends to give sheer appearance). Apply only on the areas that need it most, usually along the nose and on the cheeks and chin.

4. Cover up under eye circles, blemishes, and spots

From the name, everyone may have realized that we are going to talk about a male model. But considering his long blonde hair, slender build and delicate features, who would have guessed that he is actually a male supermodel? He even models for both ladies and men’s collection on the same catwalk of a Sao Paulo Show.

At Sao Paulo Fashion Week, the 19-year-old Andrej Pejic appeared for the collections of a Brazilian designer, Lino Villaventura. He wore a white shirt and black high-waisted baggy trousers with a single suspender that looked like a tie when he first stepped out on the catwalk. To add a pirate-inspired look, he wore a headdress falling over one eye and completed the male fashion look with a velvet jacket and polished pointed boots.

But that was only the start, as for the show’s finale, the Serbian-born beauty was completely transformed as female when he appeared in a pleated pewter-colored evening gown, wearing heels on his feet, and hair still pulled back but with a different headdress. To make him ‘more women-like’ his lips was dabbed with a berry-hued lip stain.

Prior to the show, Pejic made headlines when he ranked 98th in FHM magazine’s list of the world’s sexiest women. He was even predicted to be one of Victoria’s Secret Model one day. But long before that, Pejic who grew up in Australia used to work in McDonalds. The former First Lady of the United States, who is also known as a cancer awareness advocate and the inspiration of those who suffered from addiction, Betty Ford, has passed away at the age of 93.

As reported by CNN, her death was confirmed by Elaine Didier, the director of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum, but the cause of death has not been reported. According to a family member, Ford passed away on Friday evening with family at her bedside.

Ford served as the First Lady during the presidency of her husband, Gerald R. Ford in 1974 – 1977. In 1982, she established the Betty Ford Clinic in Rancho Mirage, California for she used to suffer from alcohol addiction and medication which was prescribed to her in the early 1960s for a pinched nerve.

The center she established became famous as it was known to treat celebrities who struggled from addictions and emotional issues. Ozzy Osbourne, Liz Taylor, Stevie Nicks, Kelsey Grammer, and Lindsay Lohan are among the celebrity clients who had been treated in the rehab center.

“The Break Up”, a hit romantic comedy in 2006 starring Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston, was the movie which helped the actress get over her ex-husband, Brad Pitt.

Aniston said that the movie was a beautiful human story about a couple breaking up – the topic as well as issue which she was slightly familiar with. She made a statement about the movie during her chat with James Lipton in “Inside the Actor’s Studio”, that when accepting the role she honestly felt that it would be a great way to sort of exorcise some of the experience. She also confessed that the producers of the movie were first hesitant about adding her to the lineup considering the similarity of the movie story with her personal experience. However, she insisted that it would not disrupt her ability to play the role.

“I was like, ‘Why not?’ Turn the page, let’s move on,” she said. As for the role itself, she claimed: “I enjoyed it! You’d think otherwise.” She even admitted to Lipton in the interview which will be aired on Monday, July 11, that her romantic heartache made the role “easier” to do.

Aniston was married to Pitt for five years. After the divorce, Pitt later chose to tie the knot with his “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” co-star, Angelina Jolie, while Aniston has recently reported to found love again with Justin Theroux. They have been seen together a couple times – the latest one is in a Hollywood event where Aniston got his hand and feet imprinted at a ceremony outside the iconic Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. Lady Gaga has recently been criticized for exploiting her LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender) fans to sell her records. The critic would have likely come after a recent interaction she had with a young gay man who was in the military. The guy told her that America’s fight for equality has given him hope, and to express his grateful for Gaga’s song “Born This Way”, he gave her his service jacket.

Knowing that the incident had raised claims about her records selling, Gaga said that it was one of the most ridiculous statements a person made about her. “My love for my gay fans is just pure, authentic love for them as supporters of me from the beginning, and me feeling connected to their struggles as someone who is a part of their fight,” she told The Advocate magazine. She also said to PopEater that the top thing she thinks about every day other than her fans, loving the music, and her family being healthy, is social justice and equality. And that was the main theme of her latest song.

She stated about her song that it is not about just being born in one moment, but about being reborn over and over again until you finally become that unique and special person inside of you who can bravely and surely ready to take on the world. “And I was born this way. And that’s who I am,” said the pop star. “The song is meant to be liberating not only from an individual perspective but from a creative perspective,” added Gaga who admitted that she considers herself as a member of the LGBT community. On the Royal Couple tour in Quebec City, The Duchess of Cambridge was presented with a bouquet by a two year old Raffaela, who had been waiting with her father David Cheater for four years to see Kate and William.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the City Hall to attend a ceremony honoring Canada’s Royal 22nd Regiment. Knowing the couple will be in the area, Cheater, a landscape gardener, went there with her 2 year old daughter.

As Kate took the bouquet handed by her daughter, she told Cheater that he has a beautiful daughter and laid her hand on the youngster’s head and smiled at her. Cheater later told the reporters that he said to Kate, he wished her and William well with starting their own family, which the Duchess later replied, “Yes, I hope to.”

Kate was talking outside the City Hall at that time, where her husband Prince William had delivered a short speech entirely in French. However not everyone in the city welcomed the royal couple. As they made their way through the streets of Old Quebec, their motorcade was greeted by about 200 protesters carrying the Quebec Flag and signs in French that translated as “the king is me” as reported by People.com.

The house arrest ended on June 29 – a good reason for paparazzi to get into action and capture the starlet’s latest activities. LiLo stepped out to celebrate her 25th birthday in Malibu, California on Saturday night, July 2 wearing a dazzling white mini dress and baby pink peep toe heels. The “Georgia Rule” actress chose to spend birthday dinner in Geoffrey’s restaurant, a popular eatery situated on the Pacific coastline, with her younger sister, Ali, and a few friends. Linda Evangelista may have refused to reveal the biological father of her 4-year-old boy, Augustin James for a couple of times. But according to the news recently reported by NYPost, it was the billionaire Frenchman Francois-Henri Pinault, who is also the husband of actress Salma Hayek.

The supermodel’s rep denied Pinault’s paternity in October 2007 when confronted by The Post’s Page Six. However, on Thursday, June 30 Evangelista came to court with the hope of support agreement with Pinault. The Manhattan magistrate’s court action soon confirmed that Pinault is the father of both Augustin James and Valentina Paloma (his daughter from Hayek).

A year after “Augie’s” birth, the 46 year old supermodel claimed in interviews that the father of her baby was a ‘New York architect.’ Her rep at DNA Model Management, Didier Fernandez, even called that the paternity rumor of Pinault ‘untrue’ to Page Six in 2007.

No agreement was yet reached after the model’s third or fourth trip to Family Court as she left glumly without commenting to a reporter. Pinault himself was never shown up at the court, that according to his lawyer, David Aronson, his absence was due to a misunderstanding.
