The new iPhone application released by Pandora puts an entire jewellery catalogue in the palm of your hand. The intuitive iPhone touch interface makes browsing through the catalogue fast and easy. Once the Pandora app is launched you are taken directly to pictures of all the new items in the current collection.
The Pandora catalogue showcases every jewel variety: bracelets, charms, earrings, necklaces, pendants and rings. High resolution pictures allow every piece of jewellery in the catalogue to be viewed with immense detail. Tapping on each individual picture you can enlarge the image to the entire screen of the iPhone. To find out more about any piece you just need to click the small information button in the top right corner. Under each picture the current retail price of the jewellery is clearly stated. If you are searching for something in particular there is a dedicated search button. A randomized browsing experience is also available through a shuffle button. Furthermore, in order to keep track of the jewellery you want to buy, there are buttons to add the item to a wish list or own list.
The app is a great tool for those looking for the perfect gift. The option to choose for occasion, budget, type of jewellery, material and colour make gift shopping precise and easy. If you want to share any piece of jewellery featured in the app all you have to do is click on the sharing button to link via Facebook or email.
The option to find a Pandora store nearest to you is built right into the app itself. Using the iPhone’s data network and GPS tracking the iPhone locates the nearest store for you and pinpoints it using Google Maps.
Finally, you can log join or log into “Pandora Club” from directly within the app. Pandora Club allows access to pictures of new jewellery before they are released to everyone else. Being a member of the club also allows you to share your wish list and keep track of jewellery you already own.
