The big screen version of Sex And The City has had its world premiere in London with hundreds of fans queued to catch a glimpse of the stylish stars of the film for the world premiere of their hotly anticipated film. Fantastic clothes, after all, are its “sixth character”. And with reports of tensions between the ever-glamorous co-stars over what they would wear to the film’s opening night in London’s Leicester Square, all eyes were on the arrival of the fabulous four.
All were dressed in the designer clothes that made the series about sex and shopping such a huge fashion-industry hit. Parker’s hat, bearing flowers, grasses and a butterfly, was complemented by a pale green dress by Alexander McQueen — an outfit Carrie would have loved. Cattrall wore a red Vivienne Westwood dress and Nixon was in a floor length black pleated Calvin Klein gown. Davis wore a more modest vintage fuschia dress. The former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham recently had her long locks chopped down to a bob sparking a new style craze among women. Victoria Beckham recently confessed she had her hair cut up to her chin because her extensions kept falling out during sex. She started to notice that clumps of hair were falling out during her sex with footballer husband David Beckham.
In an interview with British breakfast TV show ‘GMTV’, she said: “I was in the heat of passion and my hair extensions would come out - it was so embarrassing.” Victoria, 32, also admitted she idolised her husband and insisted she would “do absolutely anything for him”.
