Casey Anthony was released from jail on Sunday, July 17 at 12:14 a.m. She left the Orange County Booking and Release Center in Orlando, Fla. through the front door, wearing blue jeans and bright pink top, plus a relief expression on her face.

According to Tony Zumbado, a photographer selected by the jail to witness her freedom, Anthony was smiling and looked glad to be out of the jail.

However, several protesters outside the jail didn’t seem happy with her release. Some called her a baby killer, and some other cussing her to rot in hell for killing her daughter. There were more than 300 people formed outside the jail that the police on horseback must maintain the angry crowd’s control.

With $537.68 – the remaining money in her inmate account – given to her, the police escorted her into a gray SUV and drove her off into the hot and humid Florida night.

The case of Anthony killing her daughter Caylee has attracted the public’s attention for three years – the same length of time she spent in jail. Casey Anthony was arrested for trying and acquitting of murdering the girl.

It is finally the end of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s wedding. The pop star couple have announced to divorce after being married for seven years, on Friday July 15.

They both said that the divorce was a very difficult decision that they have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters.

Lopez and Anthony were married in a secret yet casual ceremony in June 2004 at her Beverly Hills home, only five months away from her split to Ben Affleck. Before tying the knot, the couple had been friends for years and dated for a short while in the 1990s.

Previously, Lopez had been married to restaurateur Ojani Noa, and later divorced in 1998, then she was married for only nine months to her backing dancer Cris Judd whom she had been dating since 2001 to 2003.

Anthony was also married to former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres, and from the wedding he has two sons Cristian and Ryan, who are ten and seven years old.

So, how about ‘Harper’? According to People, it is an old English name Victoria has always loved. Another reason for ‘Seven’ as the middle name, is because they believe it is a very lucky spiritual number. Well, Harper is one lucky baby girl to have a famous athlete and former Spice Girl member as parents. As for David and Vic, they consider her a blessing for being the first baby girl in the family.

The former First Lady of the United States, who is also known as a cancer awareness advocate and the inspiration of those who suffered from addiction, Betty Ford, has passed away at the age of 93.

As reported by CNN, her death was confirmed by Elaine Didier, the director of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum, but the cause of death has not been reported. According to a family member, Ford passed away on Friday evening with family at her bedside.

Ford served as the First Lady during the presidency of her husband, Gerald R. Ford in 1974 – 1977. In 1982, she established the Betty Ford Clinic in Rancho Mirage, California for she used to suffer from alcohol addiction and medication which was prescribed to her in the early 1960s for a pinched nerve.

The center she established became famous as it was known to treat celebrities who struggled from addictions and emotional issues. Ozzy Osbourne, Liz Taylor, Stevie Nicks, Kelsey Grammer, and Lindsay Lohan are among the celebrity clients who had been treated in the rehab center.

“The Break Up”, a hit romantic comedy in 2006 starring Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston, was the movie which helped the actress get over her ex-husband, Brad Pitt.

Aniston said that the movie was a beautiful human story about a couple breaking up – the topic as well as issue which she was slightly familiar with. She made a statement about the movie during her chat with James Lipton in “Inside the Actor’s Studio”, that when accepting the role she honestly felt that it would be a great way to sort of exorcise some of the experience. She also confessed that the producers of the movie were first hesitant about adding her to the lineup considering the similarity of the movie story with her personal experience. However, she insisted that it would not disrupt her ability to play the role.

“I was like, ‘Why not?’ Turn the page, let’s move on,” she said. As for the role itself, she claimed: “I enjoyed it! You’d think otherwise.” She even admitted to Lipton in the interview which will be aired on Monday, July 11, that her romantic heartache made the role “easier” to do.

Aniston was married to Pitt for five years. After the divorce, Pitt later chose to tie the knot with his “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” co-star, Angelina Jolie, while Aniston has recently reported to found love again with Justin Theroux. Lady Gaga has recently been criticized for exploiting her LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender) fans to sell her records. The critic would have likely come after a recent interaction she had with a young gay man who was in the military. The guy told her that America’s fight for equality has given him hope, and to express his grateful for Gaga’s song “Born This Way”, he gave her his service jacket.

Knowing that the incident had raised claims about her records selling, Gaga said that it was one of the most ridiculous statements a person made about her. “My love for my gay fans is just pure, authentic love for them as supporters of me from the beginning, and me feeling connected to their struggles as someone who is a part of their fight,” she told The Advocate magazine. She also said to PopEater that the top thing she thinks about every day other than her fans, loving the music, and her family being healthy, is social justice and equality. On the Royal Couple tour in Quebec City, The Duchess of Cambridge was presented with a bouquet by a two year old Raffaela, who had been waiting with her father David Cheater for four years to see Kate and William.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the City Hall to attend a ceremony honoring Canada’s Royal 22nd Regiment. Knowing the couple will be in the area, Cheater, a landscape gardener, went there with her 2 year old daughter.

As Kate took the bouquet handed by her daughter, she told Cheater that he has a beautiful daughter and laid her hand on the youngster’s head and smiled at her. Cheater later told the reporters that he said to Kate, he wished her and William well with starting their own family, which the Duchess later replied, “Yes, I hope to.”

Kate was talking outside the City Hall at that time, where her husband Prince William had delivered a short speech entirely in French. However not everyone in the city welcomed the royal couple. As they made their way through the streets of Old Quebec, their motorcade was greeted by about 200 protesters carrying the Quebec Flag and signs in French that translated as “the king is me” as reported by People.com.
