A small but perfectly formed moment of fashion fabulousness took place in the Royal Suite of the Waldorf Towers, Manhattan on Monday. For it was here that Victoria Beckham presented what she modestly referred to as her “dream of a lifetime” to a select gaggle of fashion press. VICTORIA Beckham has gone from size zero to hero in the style stakes as her debut collection of dresses was hailed a success by the British fashion press. As the former Spice Girl revealed her debut fashion collection to a handful of fashion’s elite editors on Monday, she also showcased a daring new hairdo, a short spiky crop.
According to the former Posh Spice, whose husband, David Beckham, plays soccer for the Los Angeles Galaxy, the major department stores are fighting over the collection of 18 dresses, which will sell from £650 to £900, or $1,150 to $1,600.

British beauty and actress Kate Winslet has slammed the rising trend for super skinny models and actresses. The straightforward star of The Holiday is famous for her curves. And she has no desire to join their ranks as she finds the size zero thing ‘unbelievably disturbing’. She finds the glamorization of ultra-skinny models and actresses disturbing and says she keeps magazines featuring such women away from her 6-year-old daughter. “It’s only a matter of time before she becomes aware of it, and it frightens the life out of me,” Winslet said of her daughter, Mia.
The 31-year-old star of Titanic said: “I don’t want to be a finger pointer…but young girls are very impressionable.”

Victoria Beckham recently confessed she had her hair cut up to her chin because her extensions kept falling out during sex. She started to notice that clumps of hair were falling out during her sex with footballer husband David Beckham.

In an interview with British breakfast TV show ‘GMTV’, she said: “I was in the heat of passion and my hair extensions would come out - it was so embarrassing.” Victoria, 32, also admitted she idolised her husband and insisted she would “do absolutely anything for him”. Ex-Spice Girl VICTORIA Beckham looks set to land her own US TV show as a fashion expert, it emerged last night. Former Spice Girls manager and and Pop Idol supremo, Simon Fuller, is developing the idea of a show similar to Britain’s Next Top Model. Fuller said of his idea, “it will be more serious than a reality show but will still be entertaining because Victoria is so funny.”
“She has found her niche. She can walk into any room in the fashion world and she knows as much if not more, than anyone.”

Victoria Beckham who already designs her jeans range and has launched her own perfume, has been inundated with offers over the last two years, according to Simon.
